I grew up in Podlasie, a Polish region, surrounded by forests. My father, right after the end of World War II, founded a sawmill, whose customers arrived, back then, on horse-drawn carts, from surrounding districts. In my childhood, the sound of saw used to wake me up each morning. Therefore, I can say that wood and its smell have been accompanying me since I was born. Later, I studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Equipment, Warsaw University of Technology.
The hard times of living in post-war Poland and upbringing by my parents gave me a set of convictions and values I have been using all my life, while running the company: reliability, punctuality, flexibility to changes, constant development and keeping my word. All of this results in a fact, that my customers frequently say that I am a gentleman with pre-war good manners.
I pass a similar set of rules for managing a company to my successors who – I am fully convinced about it – will carry on with the same work and life principle.
At present, we face new challenges, including the problem of finding workers – competent and committed employees, who are willing to observe the ethos of work. Further development of machine parks, streamlining and automation of woodworking processes is a sort of response to the low unemployment rate, which, in addition, brings a number of benefits, including a higher output or lower costs of business operation.
We are a company with 100% Polish capital, the company headquarters are located in the capital of Poland – Warsaw, while our production plant is situated in a picturesque region surrounded by forests, called Bory Tucholskie (The Tuchola Forest). My aim is to provide customers with failure-free machines to be used for years to come.
